It all started in year 9 in Daniel James Community School. I knew that in the future ICT would be a huge thing and nearly every job would at least require basic ICT Skills. As our GCSE options was in year 9 I chose ICT as one of the options. In the last 2 years in Daniel James I started loving the subject and looked forward to every lesson.
In school I didnt know what i really wanted to do because I changed my mind nearly every year. As I knew ICT was the future and I enjoyed the subject i thought that I would go a bit further in ICT.
Once results day come I met the criteria to enrol in the cousre. The day after I had an interview to sort out all the enrolment. I collected my Student Card and then I was officially enroled within the Course.
The first year was great! I enjoyed nearly every topic. One of my favourites had to be Software Applications. The reason of this was that we learnt how to use advance features within Microsoft Office that I didnt even know that existed. I have just started my second year now September just gone and I hope that the course is going to be just exciting as it was in the first year.
This is always an hard decision to make! I would like to progress onto full - time employment or an apprenticeship. I have targeted big companies such as Swansea Council, DVLA etc. I dont want to go to University because it has never interested me and I am ready to go into the wide world, stand on my own two feet and earn money.
