- use database tables to generate forms and reports
- use formulas to solve problems and present information in a variety of ways
- create a computer slide presentation for a given subject and group
- create a number of documents that demonstrate different techniques for graphics and text formatting.

- create and produce a professional presentation in a variety of views which includes appropriate text and graphics
- produce a number of professional documents that demonstrate appropriate text formatting, including text and graphics
- demonstrate a thorough understanding of how to merge two files together and an ability to select appropriate files for merging.

- design and produce a multi-table database to meet a given specification. Design suitable forms and reports to meet the user specification
- use validation and formatting to ensure correct data entry and employ sorting, summarising and charting techniques to produce a meaningful display of information. Customise the user screen according to the requirements. This evidence can be generated with a database and/or spreadsheet application
- create a document to specification. The specification will require careful and appropriate use of text formatting, a page layout which includes headers and/or footers, tabulated text and/or numeric data. It will also require graphics to be positioned and displayed appropriately on a page. The specification will require the merging of a file from another source.
